The Resort: Grindelwald and Jungfrau Region
• Summer Activities
• Winter Activities
There is an extensive range of possibilities for relaxation and adventure at the foot of the Eiger.
The resort of Grindelwald lies embedded in unspoilt and unique Alpine scenery at the foot of the Eiger North Face. The two ski areas of First and Kleine Scheidegg–Männlichen make Grindelwald the biggest ski resort in the Jungfrau Region.
Over 60 km of toboggan runs and a network of winter footpaths extending over 80 km are beyond compare. In addition, Grindelwald has much to offer on a culinary level, the food is authentic and unpretentious.
The Jungfrau Region – including Grindelwald, Wengen, Mürren and Lauterbrunnen – encompasses probably the most impressive landscape of the Bernese Oberland.
The imposing summits of the Eiger,
Mönch
and Jungfrau create the setting for a highly diverse winter holiday. Over 200 km of slopes, 80 km of winter foot
paths and roughly 60 km of toboggan runs as well as ice-rinks for skating and curling. The high-Alpine region is accessible via rack-railway, cable cars and gondola cableways.
Finish off your day in the region with a culinary delicacy in one of the numerous mountain huts or a visit to one of the wellness complexes.
